fun amongst the chaos

Even though school, work, and life in general is crazy demanding- we still manage to have a little fun!

Aiden's Birthday.
Aiden turned 8, yes 8, how did that happen so fast?
We helped him celebrate with Pizza and Ice Cream.

We've been playing at the Park a lot these days.
The weather is just too nice not to.

In her free time... Lola built the best mini-car garage!

On Veteran's Day we had a lazy morning and then headed out to Sea World for a few hours, just me and the girls. We bumped into the Herkerts there- it was a nice surprise!

Lola an I get some time together in Balboa Park every Friday from 4:30 to 5:00 when Ellie has the Nutcracker Rehearsals. Most time we just walk around the park, play hid and seek, or just lay on a blanket and read books. It's great to be one-on-one with your kids sometimes, even if it is just 30 minutes.

We got to see yet another fantastic CYT production with my principals kids in the cast.
This time it was Beauty and the Beast. So Good!

It's official, Ellie has NO front teeth-
This season she can sing "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth" and mean it!

Lola and Ellie caring for Sydney.
Such good cousins.

 Movie Night
Daddy and his girls!

Lately we have strived to find balance with our new schedule (between kindergarten, work, family and fun) and we have come to realize that this crazy, chaotic, lovely life of ours is our new normal! We'll take it ... just look at these smiles.
