The "Polar Express" Christmas Train

Our first official Christmas outing was a big one. We surprised this gang {Aiden, Ellie, Liam Lola, and Sydney} by not telling them where we were going. All we told them was to get their jammies on and hop in the car. They didn't know where they were headed until we actually arrived. Our train left at 7:00 pm so it was dark before we even left for the station. Because they couldn't tell where we were going, or where the train was going for that matter, I truly believe the kids thought the train took them to the North Pole and back again. No matter what, the experience was one they will not forget! The train ride is based on one of my very favorite children's book!

All Aboard!

The elves boarded the train and handed out green cards for the kids to make wish lists.

We arrived at the North Pole!

We sang as we waited for...

... the Man in Red to board to train.

Santa's helper passed out BELIEVE bells.

Ellie and I snuck in between the train cars to catch a glimpse of the North Pole.
Lola and Liam absolutely love each other. They are attached at the hip.

Poor Aiden, had to give in, and asleep he went!

This was such a fun, festive, magical way to kick off the Christmas Season!
